User management in SpartanX is straightforward by design. Administrators can invite team members, assign roles with appropriate permission levels, and control access — all from a single screen. Role selection is the most important step, as it determines exactly what each person can see and do in the platform.
Accessing User Management
Navigate to Settings > User Management. The screen displays all current workspace members with their email addresses, assigned roles, account status, and expiration dates. Users can be removed from this view if access needs to be revoked.
Inviting a New User
Click "Invite User" and provide two pieces of information:
Corporate email address — the invitation is sent to this address
Role — select from the available role options based on the user's responsibilities
The user will receive an invitation link to activate their account. Keep in mind that user count is license-dependent — different tiers support different numbers of concurrent users.
User Roles and Their Capabilities
Choosing the right role is critical for maintaining proper access control. Here's a summary of the available roles:
Read-Only Stakeholder — can view findings, reports, and dashboards. Cannot launch engagements or modify vulnerability data. Suitable for executive stakeholders and auditors.
Reporting Specialist — can generate and export reports. Limited engagement access. Suitable for compliance and documentation teams.
Risk and Compliance Analyst — can run compliance reports, interact with the Custom Agent for compliance queries, and view risk data. Suitable for GRC teams.
Security Analyst — can review findings, investigate vulnerabilities, and contribute to remediation workflows. Cannot launch engagements independently.
Offensive Security Specialist — full access to launch and manage engagements, view all findings, and use advanced platform features.
Security Manager — manages team workflows, approves status changes, and has broad platform access.
Super Admin / Owner — complete access including organizational settings, billing, and license management.
